Kindergarten

Welcome to Kindergarten! I am so excited to work with your child this year! Below you’ll find some important information about grading, homework, and classroom expectations.  

Grading & Homework:

Homework is assigned Monday–Thursday and must be completed on time. If your child is absent, homework will be sent home and should be completed when they return. Assessments, rubrics (scaled 1–4), and work completion will be used to evaluate progress and identify areas where extra support may be needed.

Classroom Conduct & Expectations:

We follow our school rules each day to create a safe and positive learning environment:  Raise your hand to ask or answer a question. Stay seated during lessons unless given permission.  Show kindness and respect to classmates and teachers. If any basic behavior needs to be addressed, I will reach out to you directly. Thank you in advance for your cooperation as we begin this wonderful school year together!
